About Me

Former int'l news correspondent, documentarian and university lecturer (among other things), who has a good outlook on life. I smile and laugh a lot because after seeing the things I have in this world I find that life is too short to be wasted being unpleasant. I've got the curiosity of a cat, an adventurous nature, love learning new things and meeting new people. My sense of humor is pretty much always on and along with that is a dedicated, loyal and caring heart. On the other hand, I must have my space, cherish my independence and my privacy. I prefer museums than bars and can go from casual to elegant in 60 seconds. (O.K., how about 30 minutes? If you have me as a friend you have a friend for life but then that makes you a very special person. I don't suffer fools or people who are stuck in a bygone era. I a bit of a techie who can be downright silly at times and I like the person I am. There's lots more but you'll have to ask me. I'm by no means an "average" or "ordinary" woman.
